Boatee Child Safety Standards
Last updated: May 21, 2026
Boatee has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sextortion, trafficking, sexualized content involving minors, or any attempt to use Boatee to harm a child.
Our Standards
Boatee is a boating community, marketplace, and service platform. We prohibit any content, conduct, communication, listing, profile, image, message, or activity that exploits, abuses, sexualizes, endangers, grooms, traffics, extorts, or targets minors.
Users may not upload, share, request, promote, sell, link to, or attempt to obtain CSAM or any sexualized content involving minors. Users may not use Boatee messages, posts, marketplace listings, events, profiles, or service workflows to contact, groom, coerce, lure, threaten, or exploit a child.
Reporting Child Safety Concerns
Boatee allows users to report child safety concerns through our contact and safety reporting flow. Reports can be submitted from inside the app or website.
To report a child safety concern, use the child safety reporting topic on our contact form or email our designated safety contact directly.
How We Respond
When Boatee becomes aware of CSAE, CSAM, or child endangerment concerns, we review and act as appropriate. Actions may include removing content, restricting or disabling accounts, preserving relevant information where legally appropriate, and escalating urgent safety concerns.
Confirmed CSAM or credible child safety threats may be reported to relevant regional, national, or international authorities, including the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) where applicable, Canadian child protection or law enforcement authorities, or other appropriate agencies.
Legal Compliance
Boatee complies with relevant child safety laws and cooperates with law enforcement and child protection authorities when required. We also expect Boatee members to comply with all applicable laws and immediately report suspected child exploitation to appropriate authorities.
